¶ Sending a Fax
Step 1: At a Fax Machine model use your third eye and you can select to either send a fax to a business or an individual (using a phone number).
Step 2a: If you are sending a fax to a business then these will already be preset in an available dropdown menu for you, enter a title for the fax and then a message as shown and then click Send Fax.
Step 2b: If sending a fax to an individual then you need to type in their phone number (they can get this from third their personal phone and selecting the payphone option, their number is then shown on screen to them). Please note this needs to be entered as numbers only and will not support the dashes in between. Example number displayed on payphone is 123-456-7890 this would be entered by the person sending a fax as 1234567890.
¶ Receiving a Fax
Note: You don't get notified when you receive a fax so you just need to frequently check your fax inbox
Step 1: Once at a fax inbox (these can be restricted to certain characters or jobs to stop misuse and stealing of documents) press E as prompted to open the box, your faxes will be shown here, you need to drag this to your inventory.
Step 2: Once the fax is in your inventory you just need to use it and the fax message will be shown.

Fax machines will also be useable as a payphone (this is intended and allowed).
We have added a public fax machine at the new Rockford Hills City Hall we have added back to allow those who don't have a fax machine to be able to send faxes.
You can use this to send a fax to the utility company for example requesting a fax machine to be installed at your business or home (houses only as apartments won't be supported).
This allows the devs to do certain areas of dev work through RP so work such as fax and phone installations and fire alarm installations may be charged for in game with us trying to maximise RP interactions.
